About the Author

Thandeka Zungu-Sikhundla

Thandeka Zungu-Sikhundla was born and raised in Soweto. At the age of 17, she became an orphan, and by 22, she was married. At that time, she had yet to discover herself, unaware of her strengths and weaknesses. She had never fantasised about marriage, nor had she envisioned the kind of life she wanted to live.

At the time of writing her first book, The Scam called Marriage, she had been married for 16 years. With this wealth of experience, she can confidently say that the notion of a “happily ever after” is, in most cases, an illusion in marriage.
